Lisa M. Berry
President
Lisa is the founding president of the IASA. She has worked diligently with the Bauer faculty and staff, the IIA, and partnering companies to successfully establish the internal audit
program at the University of Houston Bauer College of Business. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in Accounting in 2003 and has worked with various companies including AIG Valic as a Mutual Fund Staff Accountant along with Center Point Energy as an Internal Auditor. She is currently working as a full time internal auditor for the University of Houston and is pursuing her Masters in Accounting at the Bauer College of Business. Some things that interest Lisa include reading, traveling, American Presidents, family genealogy, going to plays, and watching UH Cougar Football! Jamie West
Executive Vice President
Jamie is currently a junior majoring in Accounting at the University of Houston Bauer College of Business. She plans on pursuing her MS in Accountancy immediately following her undergraduate degree. She is involved in the Ted Bauer Leadership Certificate Program and the Internal Audit Program with hopes of receiving certificates of completion when she graduates. Jamie has been working through college for one of FORTUNE Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” The Container Store. Thomas Schultea
Vice President of Corporate Relations
Thomas is the VP of Corporate Relations for the IASA. He is currently a senior and is pursuing his degree in accounting. Thomas has a knack for being involved with student organizations by being a member of 6 organizations, an officer for 2 out of 6 organizations, and creating one of the student organizations from scratch. Thomas enjoys accounting and plans to graduate with his BBA in Accounting in Spring 2010. He also plans to pursue graduate courses beginning in the Summer 2010 semester. Anna Pomeroy
Vice President of Communications
Anna Pomeroy is the Vice President of Communications for IASA and currently a senior pursuing her BBA in Accounting. She is also working to also earn the Certificate in Internal Audit and the Corporate Entrepreneurship Certificate. She intends to sit for the Certified Internal Audit (CIA) exam directly after graduation, and eventually earn an MS in Accountancy and the CPA designation. She has worked in sales management, retail management, and in the music industry. She is currently working for Apple Inc. as a computer specialist and software trainer.
